I made a mistake of not reading the description properly to realize that you only get 1 bell for the price of $10.99 (and free shipping. My 6 month old daughter can easily hold the handle, and you definitely do not need to shake this bell to make it rattle - it's very sensitive. But for the price I think you can do better elsewhere.

You may think the price is a little steep for ONE musical item but my son loves this toy! Our local library has them for the toddler program and after several weeks of him going straight for this cage bell toy (and refusing to put it away when it was time to clean up), I decided he had to have one. Pleasant sound, bath tub safe & lots of fun!

Well made, durable and makes a nice "sleigh bell" sound. I like the colors. We ended up with a blue and green bell, which works for my boy/girl twins. It'd be nice to be able to choose color. They like to play with this - the handle is easy to grip.

Purchased this bell for my 17 month old granddaughter who loves anything musical. As soon as I showed it to her and jingled the bell she smiled. We went to the store and she took it with her. I would say 'jingle jingle jingle' and she would pick up the bell and jingle it and laugh. It's the perfect size for her little hand and so far seems sturdy enough but time will tell(that's why the 4 stars). If your child or grandchild enjoys musical instruments and enjoys the sound of chimes she/he will love this bell.

Although the picture shows 3 bells, you only get ONE bell. It's a good bell, but the price is steep for just ONE bell. Also very poorly packaged; I'm surprised it didn't fall out in the mail.

We bought this for my daughter at 6 months. She loves to chew on the handle and shake it around. The bell sound is pleasant (and I am easily annoyed by sounds). Only 4 stars due to the steep price.

my ten month old rattled it around for a bit but she got bored of it pretty quick. i noticed it is a little heavy so it might be tiring to play with it for long. it seems very durable. i will keep it for when she is a bit older.

Bought this little cage bell for my son's first birthday!! At first I thought it might be to young but he loves it. It's not a annoying sound don't mind hearing it at all. When he opened it a few of his cousins crawled in to take it away. Now their mothers are buying them one. It's a must have small enough to take with you anywhere and it's durable. He chews on it, rings it and throws it. Wish I had bought this 9 years ago with my first! Check out the 3 pack of toys by the same company around $14. The bell was $7 if I had seen the 3 toy pack I would have bought that!! All new mom's I know will be getting this toy from here on out!! (Plus it's not made in China!!!)Oh-maybe they fixed this I didn't get to choose a color but thankfully I was sent a yellow/orange one!! (Don't remember seeing where you could choose a color, but then again I was in a hurry)

Our 6-month old baby loved the single (not 3 as pictured) bell that arrived, but got her fingers stuck in the slats almost immediately and screamed. This goes on the shelf until she much bigger.

My neice LOVED this when I gave this to her as a Christmas present!! I should've bought another one for my daughter since they're the same age because when she heard it in the box she wanted to tear open the box to see what it was and when I finally did she wanted to play with it like it was hers!
