Hohner 150th,
By Bluz Suns "Special20" (Alabama, United States) - See all my reviews

I received this harp as a gift an was very pleasantly surprised about its excellent quality. I recently bought a Steven Tyler harp to practice with, and that was leaky and cheap, Chinese made. This one's MUCH better. Airtight. Cool see-thru comb. I am more of a Special 20 player, but I love this harp. I don't think Hohner wanted to make a cheapo for their commemorative harp. I was in Trossingen, Germany at the factory museum and almost bought the same harp, it probably cost 60 euros. This is a great harp and a great price. Wish it came in all keys. The box is cool too, with a spring-loaded latch, natch. You can't beat this deal.

I have no musical ability what so ever, but a desire. On a whim I picked this up from a gold box lightning deal and love it. A harmonica is harmonious by design so I really can't mess it up and my dogs love it too! I picked up "Harmonica for Dummies" Harmonica For Dummies (For Dummies (Sports & Hobbies)) and almost feel like I can play an instrument. It's a great feeling.
The harmonica sounds great, easily playable, and is just a lot of fun.

The first time I play a harmonica was 60 years ago and it was an Hohner.
At 76 years old I got turn on with Amazon special of the day and bought it, I start to play, but after all these year I got too, too rusty and have start from the begining. But I must say I do like it and it sounds very good.
