Replaced the 50watt bulbs in my malibu lighting with these - they worked and draw about 1/60th the power. BUT you can get better lights for less. I opted for paying a bit more - went to 3 watt luxeon LED's and on a 100 W transformer I am lighting up the night sky!!!
