Drug Interaction Warnings
Do not use if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions or Parkinson's disease), or for two weeks after stopping the MAOI. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
Indications
Temporarily suppresses coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritation as may occur with the common cold or inhaled irritants. Calms the cough control center and relieves coughing.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient (Each Lozenge): Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (5 Mg). Inactive Ingredients: Corn Syrup, D&c Yellow No. 10, Flavors, Sucrose, Vegetable Oil.
Directions
Adults and children 12 years and older - 2 lozenges one after the other every 4 hours as needed, not to exceed 24 lozenges in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years - 1 to 2 lozenges one after the other every 4 hours as needed, not to exceed 12 lozenges in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years - consult a physician.

Have used this product for years. It is the only product which really stops your coughing. Unfortunately it is no longer available in my area but fortunately it is available thru Amazon.
Two drops works for about 4 hours.

Hold seems to be one of the best-kept secrets for dealing with a cough. Most drug stores don't sell it and haven't heard of it. Take one before going to bed. Then read for about 20-30 minutes and take the second one. It stops the cough during the night. Just don't drink any liquids after taking it. I gave it only 4 stars because, even though the manufacturer denies it, it isn't as strong nor provide and coating of the original Hold.
