Typical Madball Hardcore,
By A Customer
This review is from: Hold It Down (Audio CD)
This is pretty much the same type of music that Madball has been putting out over the past 7-8 years. It is very heavy with an aggressive style. It's ok. Although other reviewers claim that Madball is all talk, rest assured their "in your face" attitude is for real and comes through on this CD! Go see them live and you'll understand. Be sure to stop by the emergency room on the way home.

one of the best albums,
This review is from: Hold It Down (Audio CD)
Madball seems that they don't want to quit. This album is just amazing. Everything is so aggressive. track 1 to the end is addicting. I am so glad hardcore is still around. And madball is there to help out.

At first I didn't realize Matt henderson was gone but half way threw I noticed they morphed a bit.they lost VINNY with DMStyle,Will shepler with look my way now Matt but they continue with their drive to survive and improve. this cd was real hard but I don't like the rap influenced stuff.they real have become a real force in hardcore love them or hate em you have to know the music.they still lay it down with the stright to your face style and brutal truth in vocals.

This has to be one of my favorite Madball albums. Straight up lyrics of standing up to the streets and facing the challeges that follow. Truthful lyrics, heavy riffs, nonstop double bass pounding. What more can u ask for. A must for any hardcore fan.

This is Madballs best cd yet. It has the NYHC sound with a little bit of a hip hop influence in it. I never get tired of listening to this cd.

I don't like this near as much as their older stuff but it stills comes through in the classic MADBALL style. My favorite track is Fall This Time just for the breakdown at the end. It's very reminiscent of the breakdown at the end of NYC from Set It Off. Despite the two hip-hop attempts, this is a very solid album.
