classic American music, January 13, 2006
This review is from: Hold on Thru Sleep & Dreams (Audio CD)
This album is proof that radio sucks. The lyrics are great, the music is classic American folk/country/rock, and Stoll Vaughan's voice (at age 23) has a haunting maturity that is impossibly rare. This will be your favorite album.

Stoll is a must hear/see, January 13, 2006
This review is from: Hold on Thru Sleep & Dreams (Audio CD)
Stoll Vaughan is an up and coming songwriter/musician, who most recently opened the Spring/Summer Tour for John Fogerty and John Mellencamp. Hold On Thru Sleep & Dreams is a great CD. Two of my favorites are Desire and Comin' To Me, although there isn't a song on there that I don't like. Looking forward to future releases.

Absolutely essential American Folk, February 28, 2011
This review is from: Hold on Thru Sleep & Dreams (Audio CD)
"Sounds of the City" is a new working class middle American anthem. Just astounding. I hate to do an unjustice to this album by going on at length about it. Music is feeling, mood, and this one creates one that is leaps and bounds better than so much of the narcisst "folk" music out there today. Stoll Vaughan is deep, and the music cuts...deep. Get this record!
