What I like about this 2 CD Set is that it contains 4 rare B-sides not on any Bonnie Tyler album, and of course the big hits she recorded for Columbia/CBS. Plus, it contains the duet remake of the oldie " A ROCKIN' GOOD WAY " with Shakin' Stevens that was not released in the USA.

Most of the tracks are from her 3 Columbia albums, but the rare b-sides are the reason to buy this collection. Bonnie co-wrote these songs, all of which are rockers & a real bonus to have on CD: THE FIRE BELOW, IT'S NOT ENOUGH, I DO IT FOR YOU, and IM NOT FOOLIN'. You can't go wrong with this 2 CD set for all the great songs, hits & rarities.

Nearly every track from her albums , "Faster Than The Speed of Night," "Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire: and "Notes from America" are included here in their full length songs. Missing from the LP "Faster" is the full length version of Faster than the speed of night, plus the tracks It's a Jungle Out There, Tears, and Take Me Back. Missing from "Secret Dreams" is the full length version of Holding Out for A Hero, plus the tracks if you were a woman and I were a man, no way to treat a lady, lover's again, and before this night is through. And missing from "Notes from America" are the tracks Notes from America, hide your heart, and shy with you. Too bad they hadn't added some of these missing tracks, considering neither disc uses the full 80 minutes...and it would have been even better if they had put the 3 remaining tracks from Notes from America, since that album isn't available on CD here in the US. "THE BEST" is not a 'Tina Turner' Cover, the song was originally recorded by Bonnie Tyler on her 1990 album Notes From America which is out of print.

the best was realeased originally in 1988 on "hide your heart" or "notes from america". different titles for the usa and the rest of the world. tina turner released her cover version in 1990, and 1991 with jimmy barnes.
