Bonnie Tyler...what can I say, she can make you rock out or fall in the deepest love. This tune was meant to be played loudly and sung along with.

I guess a lot of Bonnie Tyler Fans would say that "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is their favorite song, but I love the powerful, driving beat of "Holding Out for a Hero." If you've only heard the insipid version of the song in the movie Shrek 2 by the short-lived British group Frou Frou, you're in for a real treat when you hear Bonnie Tyler's version - she OWNS this song.

I came across this song on youtube while looking for music which would inspire me to get up and dance. This does it! It is upbeat, strong, and positive and does not let up on its driving rhythm. I was happy to find it here and include it in my music library.

Bonny Tylan expresses more with her raspy voice than most performers can with their flawless well trained voices.
I find her rendeition excellent because it expresses the hopes of everyone of us flawed or perfect. I love listening to all her songs.

I was a fan of Bonnie Tyler and it was great to see her have some success in the US first with Total Eclipse of the Heart and then Holding Out for a Hero. She has a unique voice and her songs make me think of her as the female Meatloaf.

This was the theme music to an adventure TV series which I truly enjoyed. Now, when I hear the music, it takes me back not only to memories of the TV show but to other memories of that time in my life.

Holding out for a hero by Bonnie Tyler is one of my favorite all time tunes. It was popular when I was in college and listening to it now can take me back in a heartbeat.

Oldie but a goodie. It's upbeat enough to run to and puts me in mind of a bodice-ripper novel (in a good way!). I like her husky voice too.
