As a fan of various types of music, many of which are considered to be avant garde, I can safely say that what one views as "noise" might just be due to ignorance and/or not being able to enjoy that style of sound. I am a fan of noise and experimental and although I haven't heard these guys fully yet, I felt the need to come to their defense. If you don't understand or enjoy something because it's out of your taste level/comfort zone, it doesn't justify pissing all over it, your opinion is valid for you, but not for everyone else, especially those who are familiar with this sort of music. As a black metal fanatic I cannot for the life of me get into Striborg, yet his stuff is considered "great" by many others whose opinions I typically share. Everyone has their own taste level and shouldn't make hasty decisions regarding music that they are unfamiliar with. I would accept a negative review , had it been from someone who knew this stuff/artist/etc. and had a legitimate argument for why this wasn't good. That is what reviews are for, to help others decide whether or not it's a worthy investment,not for voicing opinions on subjects one is not familiar with.
This group comes highly recommended for fans of noise/experimental music and I'm actually about to buy this myself after being advised to through other people and purchases. If you are a fan of Merzbow/Aube/ bastard noise( jap. noise), a new label based out of the UK, Frequency Thirteen, and their True Sheffield Black Psychedelic stuff, NY No Wave like suicide/DNA/theoretical Girls, exp. psych such as Acid Mothers Temple, various industrial labels such as Cold Meat Industry and Steinklang, bands such as Circle,Rakhim, Fleshpress; Raw Black metal, and many more including Khanate and Sunn 0))) ,then buy this and check it out. This is also compared with the likes of Amon Duul and Hawkwind for some reason too.

WORTHY OF A BACK YARD HOLE, September 1, 2008

EVERY NOW AND THEN I BUY A C D AND WITH AN OPEN MIND I LISTEN TO EXPAND MY HORIZONS IN MUSIC.THIS C D IS TERRIBLE!!!MY CAT WAS IN THE ROOM WHEN I PUT IT ON AND FELL DEAD ON THE SPOT.I BURIED BOTH THE C D AND THE CAT IN THE BACKYARD.....NUFF SAID.
