Looking just like the Holga 120N model camera, and retaining all of its unique features, this Holga 120PC model takes Holga photography into the world of pinhole photography ! Features include a standard tripod mount (1/4-20), permanent bulb setting for the long exposures pinhole photography requires. 6 x 4.5cm or 6 x 6cm format plastic masks are included. Uses 120 film. All Holgas include the famous Holga Manual with tips on using, maintaining and customizing your Holga. The Holga 120PC looks just like the Holga and retains all of its unique features, however the120PC takes Holga photography into the world of pinhole photography! Features include: -Two masks for either 6 x 4.5cm or 6 x 6cm images-Standard tripod mount (1/4-20) -Bulb selector for extra long exposures Uses 120 film or 35mm (with adaptor, purchased separately). I bought three rolls of "Lomoraphy Redscale 50-200 120 film" and took them with Holga Pinhole 120. As I don't carry a tripod with me, all pictures were taken when the weather is fine. Although I always put the camera on something solid while taking pictures, the pictures turned out to be less clear than I expected [...]
I used an iPhone as the light metre, and the films were processed as ISO100. These pictures look better ( better colour and clearer ) when over-exposed.
The biggest disadvantage about a pinhole camera is that a long exposure is always needed, but sometimes it's difficult to find a solid place to place it. Carrying a small tripod would be a good idea. Also, what the camera needs is a T-shutter, not a B-shutter, because when doing an exposure of several minutes, holding the shutter key can be tiring.
