I am not an Atrist but I had Gourds. I got this book to help me see what I could do with the gourds. I found the book VERY helpful. I followed the pictures and was able to create a christmas snowman gourd that my friends did not ask me if my young grandchildren made. I was able to follow the pictures and create some very nice gourds that are good enough to give as gifts. I was even able to create some on my own. Thanks

I have enjoyed making several of the projects in this book. The directions are easy to follow and the pictures are good. I was able to modify the designs to make them my own using the tips in this book.
