An absolute authority of collecting,

There are many collecting books these days, and most appear to be someone's individual collection--so whatever that collector has and believes is correct become the "book value" and the "book authority" of every facet of an item. This book is different, it IS the authority because of the research and obvious attention to detail. This is not just a picture book---it was highly recommended to me by an antique dealer....something akind to the Bible in the field. I would not hesitate to buy this book and any new ones created by its author.
The transaction was quick (and that was important because it was delivered during the Christmas mail crush) and flawless.
