Great Book for Preschool-Age Children,
By
This review is from: A Holiday for Noah (Shabbat) (Paperback)
This is a delightful book for any preschool-age child. It begins with a picture of Noah, who we learn loves nursery school. He loves painting, playing, and especially loves Shabbat in school. On each day of the week, Noah runs to school and asks if that day is a holiday. The teacher replies no but says that the class is going to make alphabet soup, play with puzzles, celebrate a birthday, etc. At the end of the book we learn that Noah associates "holiday" with Shabbat. The pictures in the book follow the story being told by the words. At the end of the book is a challah recipe, which looks easy to make but I still have to try it.
