I think this book is great to challenge one toward living a life pleasing to God. The readings are one page and down to earth. The topics vary and are encouraging.

This book gives small portions of practical, balanced teaching. It is especially good for people who struggle with feeling they can never please God enough or do good enough. It can also be helpful to knock some sense into those who think God requires nothing from them. Because the book is devotional sized readings, it's not too much at once. I have bought several copies because I believe it presents the gospel in such a sensible, usable way that I want others to also benefit.

As a hardcover, this book makes a nice gift presentation. The title is embossed adding to the quality of its appearance. Altogether a great book, amazingly reasonable price and a tremendous value to any Christian or someone seeking to understand what it really means to be Christian.

I love this devotional. I've tried so many, and this is the only one that I've been able to stick with. Each day starts with a verse of the bible and a little lesson with a few bible verses mixed within and occasionally some good quotes from some good bible scholars.

Excellent! I am coming up on the close of the year of using this daily as a devotional. Very thought provoking and simply wonderful. I would highly recommend this book.
