5.0 out of 5 stars Ja Is HOT
Ja Rule is no DMX, but he may follow in his foot-steps. He's sure to have a hot album, being on Def Jam, and it will feature a bunch of hot artists. I'm lookin forward to " Venni Vetti Vecci", but the Murder Inc, cd, which is the trio group of DMX, Jay-Z, and Ja, will be more anticipated. ~~~ONE~~~ Johnny Blaze

5.0 out of 5 stars Let's HOLLA HOLLA for Ja Rule, June 27, 2001
This review is from: Holla Holla / Bj Skit / It's Murda (Audio CD)
Even for a single CD, this is still excellent. The instrumental of "Holla Holla" was excellent as well as the street version. I liked "It's Murda" street version but I didn't like the instrumental that good. If you want to just pick a CD up, make sure it's Ja Rule's single CD "Holla Holla." Peace.

Might be the best single of Ja's career. He comes out spittin the rhymes twice gettin yo' attention, I mean this song is purely awesome. The lyrics are great, the beat is great he comes out and he strives for what he wants. He wants to be the greatest out there and in my mind he achieved thta but back then he wasn't. It's a great song that you won't get tired of anytime soon. Go pick it up today!

5.0 out of 5 stars This got the BOMB DIGGIY beat, the best CD of the summer, June 22, 1999

Ja Rule got a mix of differnt types of music. He gots Jay-Z , an DMX. What more could you ask for in a cd. Trust me if you want a cd this is the best cd of the summer. Holla Holla is the kinda song that gets you jumping at a party, and one of those that you could put it one repeat and listen to forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ja is the best new rapper but no DMX, May 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Holla Holla / Bj Skit / It's Murda (Audio CD)
Ja is a great rapper. This is also a great single because it's got 3 songs and an interlude. "It's Murda" is a good song and so is "Holla Holla". "Kill 'Em All" is good but not as good as the other 2. Ja is no DMX either. Everyone is saying that he's just copying DMX but that is a lie. They sound and act different to me. I just read in a magazine that Ja's album will be out June 1st. Ja is also on Dru Hill's album "Enter The Dru", Blackstreet's album "Finally," & Jay-z's album "Hard Knock Life". He also has a song called "B* * * h Betta Have My Money" on the Rush Hour Soundtrack. I think Ja's one of the best rappers of all time.

The ironic thing about this single is that "Holla, Holla" isn't a great song, its ok. But the other two songs, "Its Murda" and "Kill 'Em All" both kick ASS!!!! Damn this single is hella worth gettin, Ja and DMX go really well together, i can't wait 4 Venni Vetti Vecci to come out. Peace everyone
