This tool has a great design concept in that the cable is routed through the center of the tool. This means there is no flipping the cable over the handle every turn like you have to with the offset t-handle types. However (there's always a however eh?) the throat behind the hex opening is too narrow to accommodate most quad shield sized compression terminators (at least not the three types I use). Not a problem if you have a rat-tail file and about 10 minutes to file the throat wider but if not and you use quad shield cable, probably not for you.

I bought this for one main reason...I have a 31 ft 5th wheel trailer and it is so hard to screw the outside cable or satilite to the trailer and this was just the ticket. Very very satisfied with it.

This is a great tool for attaching and detaching F-connectors on standard cables (won't fit around fat ones). Look for price to plunge some day.

Maybe it is over-priced in terms of the time and materials needed to make it, but in terms of its value to the user it is a bargain. I LOVE this little baby. You will too. It solves some problems that only it can solve. And it doesn't take up much room in the bottom of the tool box. Believe it or not, I'm going to give a couple as Christmas gifts to my DIY best buddies.

I'm a radio amateur so I don't do all that much with F connectors. Mostly they are used in TV cable systems. However, once in a while I need to loosen or tighten one and it always seems that the connector is in a tight spot that is hard to reach with fingers or a wrench. This little gadget slips over the cable and makes tightening and loosening a snap. One reviewer noted that the slot in the side was not wide enough to admit larger-diameter low-loss cable. However, I have used it with both RG59 and LMR400 and it fits just fine. If necessary, though, the slot can easily be widened with a file.

I am a direct tv installer, and I love this tool, has made it easier and faster for tighten and loosening connections, and saves on your hands when putting connections onto cable, will be ordering another couple to make sure I always have a backup in case lose one, only con is, I do think they are expensive for what it is, would expect to see it less than 5 bux, but it is still worth the money though.

An ATT repair"person" installing U-Verse in my home had one of these. She let me use it and WOW!. NO more knuckle busting. Had to get one! Couldn't believe I found it, and for $10! If you ever have to deal with COAX connections, this is a must have!

This tool makes it easy to install and remove F-connectors. It also makes it easy to push connectors onto the cable when making new cables. Just put the connector into the front of the tool and push the cable while holding the tool steady.

This is a no brainer, buy 2 or 3. You are going to want to give one to friends.
