NOT Chris Connor,
This review is from: Holler (Audio CD)
I just want to make it clear to customers and editors alike that Chris O'Connor is NOT the female jazz singer Chris Connor, who was popular in the 50s and was a protegee of June Christy. I haven't listened to Holler, so I'll just give it one star (sorry Chris O'Connor!), but I hope customers won't buy this thinking they are getting Chris Connor, because these are TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE!

If you are interested in a great songwriter whose music has a good dose of angst without being pedantic, check this out.

An amazing find!,

I was blown away! If James Taylor was Irish, he would sound like Chris. I also thought his lyrics were very thoughtful, like Cat Stevens. Don't get me wrong, the CD stands alone, I just want to make a comparison. The song "Holler" moved me the first time I heard it, and it still does (100 times later).
