The books in each set - and some info on 'order', January 10, 2009
This review is from: Tales From Pixie Hollow 4 copy Box Set (Disney Fairies)(Trouble with Tink, Lily's Pesky Plant, Vidia and the Fairy Crown, Beck and the Great Berry Battle) (Paperback)
Great books! We have been reading these to our kindergartener as bedtime chapter books. She's currently reading at a mid/late 1st grade level. I'm not sure whether she could read these on her own yet (I tend to think the length/complexity might be a bit daunting), but she's been loving having us read them to her.
Because it has taken a LOT of searching for me to figure out exactly which books are in each set (at this point in time, they're not all listed here individually), I thought I'd try to save someone else the trouble:
It appears (based on publication dates) that
Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg 'starts' this series. It is NOT included in any of the box sets. I do know that references to this book are mentioned in at least some of the books in the box sets.
Box Set 1:
The Trouble with Tink
Vidia and the Fairy Crown
Beck and the Great Berry Battle
Lily's Pesky Plant
Tales From Pixie Hollow 2:
Rani and the Mermaid Lagoon
Fira and the Full Moon
A Masterpiece for Bess
Prilla and the Butterfly Lie
It also seems that
Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand fits between box set #2 and box set #3, at least based on publication dates. I don't know if there are references to it in the later books, or how it truly 'fits' in the series yet - I'll try to remember to update when we've read that far!). It also is not included in any of the sets, but is seperate, just like _Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg_ that kicks things off.
Tales From Pixie Hollow Collection #3 Box Set:
Tink, North of Neverland
Beck Beyond the Sea
Dulcie's Taste of Magic
Silvermist and the Ladybug Curse
Tales From Pixie Hollow Collection #4, coming out August 25, 2009:
Fawn and the Mysterious Trickster
Iridessa, Lost at Sea
Rosetta's Daring Day
Queen Clarion's Secret
Coming 6/1/2010 - Another Gail Carson Levine addition:
Fairies and the Quest for Never Land (Disney Fairies)
And, I'm willing to bet that there will be another box set out before too long (early 2011, maybe?) as there are other individual books being released now:
Myka Finds Her Way (A Stepping Stone Book(TM)) (Jan 2010)
Lily in Full Bloom (A Stepping Stone Book(TM)) (May 2010)
Vidia Meets Her Match (Disney Chapters) (Sept 2010)
Four Clues for Rani (Disney Fairies) (A Stepping Stone Book(TM)) (Jan 2011)
Hope that saves someone some time and effort! (and with the 'edits to add' helps others figure out which order they 'should' go in!)

Great books, January 20, 2007
This review is from: Tales From Pixie Hollow 4 copy Box Set (Disney Fairies)(Trouble with Tink, Lily's Pesky Plant, Vidia and the Fairy Crown, Beck and the Great Berry Battle) (Paperback)
I bought these books for my 4 year old girl because she loves fairies. She enjoys listening to the stories even though there aren't pictures on all of the pages. I think these books are great to transition into more advanced books that have fewer pictures. We love them!
