I didn't realize how much weight I could save simply with a hollow-pin chain! AND shifts with the other SRAM components are smooth-as-silk!

This chain is the best shifting chain I have ever used. I have used a few Shimano XT and LX chains which were ok but didn't have the EZ link for tool less installation/removal. I have used quite a few 951 series chains and they worked quite well even though I didn't treat them like I should have. Bottom line if you want a burly but light chain that shifts silky smooth this is your golden ticket. I already have 100 miles on this and with regular cleaning I expect to get another 800 out of it before buying a new one.

I've ridden my new chain a few times, and found it so far to be a vast improvement over the Dura-Ace, that it replaced. This chain is practically silent, and shifts like clockwork (with faint reassuring clicks).

While this item is certainly not inexpensive, if you are looking to shave some grams and have a smooth stroke, the strength of these should not be a concern. I weigh 200 lbs and have bought these for two bikes and they are lasting longer than my solid Shimano xtr level chains.

Nice chain. light and clean. Lots of reviews of this chain breaking. If you don't know how to shift on hills your going to break any chain. Been riding this for a year and still going strong.
