This idea, the cordless sweeper, has been a great invention for those of us with non-carpeted flooring that seems to show every spec of dirt or hair. While all models out there have the basic four sweeper brushes that do a good job of picking up dirt, a tray to empty, and a rechargeable battery, the overall disappointment with this is the Ni-Cad battery it uses. This translates to low usage time since it doesn't last more than a week of casual use on a full charge, a gradual loss of sweeping power (similar to a handheld vac when the battery is dying) so that the remaining power is too weak to be useful yet you risk "memory" damage if you recharge it. Consquently, when it is losing the battery power, you have to sit it in a corner to let it die out completely, then set it on the charger. My particularly battery was utterly useless after less than 6 months. I had regular usage of my hardwood floors and I cannot find a replacement battery, even on the manufacturers website. This would be a great product if not for the battery issue.

I have a combination of hardwood floors, area rugs and carpet in my home. I wanted a small hand held sweeper to use inbetween the time I use my vacuum to pick up the dirt that my dog and I drag in especially on the hardwood areas. Most of the sweepers were electrical either battery or wall outlet which I did not want but the handheld sweeper I was looking at (Bissell) received complaints about the handle coming off. My wet Swiffer Sweeper suffers from this problem which is a pain so decided I would have to go to electric power but did not want the corded models. Found numerous reviews that praised this item including the ability to obtain a replacement battery ($14.95). It works great and even picks up some dog hairs to the point that I have to clean the brushes after two or three uses. The tray for dirt is small but easy to empty. You will know when the tray is full or the brushes are clogged with hair as it stops picking up the dirt. Cleaning the brushes is also easy with the tool provided in the box. Be sure not to through out the foam packaging until you locate the small brush cleaning tool (I almost did). I especially like the way in which the unit can be manuvered without having to lift it to change directions plus the ability to get under low furniture. I'm not sure about battery life but seems to be less than advertised however my first charge was only for 8 hours. Have just finished charging in for 24 so will see how long it lasts. One important point to remember is that this is not a vacuum for deep cleaning but a sweeper. Overall, this is just what I wanted, a cordless sweeper for surface dirt except for having to charge it but would rather have to charge it than put up with a handle that keeps coming off.

This makes your hard wood and tile floors super shiny! Totally recommend this to family and friends! A little difficult to find in stores, although Walgreens does carry it!

I have been looking for an easy to use cordless sweeper for the puzzle mats I have on top of laminate flooring. I didn't want to have to deal with filters such as with dust-buster and swifter type of sweepers. The cordless would have to pick up cat hair and what-ever babies and grown-up spill or drop, easily.
When I put this unit together and used it for the first time (Battery charging only takes 8 hours), I thought it was a complete Joke...too light weight, much, much too easy to use...but boy, did it do the job!!! I was amazed at how much it picked up and how easy it was to empty the dust container. It even works great on the stairs, you know the veritical areas that are so difficult to clean with a regular vacuum. I'm buying another one for me and probably a third as a gift.

This is probably one of the best household items I have ever bought. This little sweeper picks up so much dirt and dust making it easy to clean. The product really does what it says and I would recommend it to anyone! Don't waste your money on the more expensive models as this one is worth every penny!

I just bought this product from Walmart, and charged it over night. I intended to use it on our hardwood floors, and I was amazed at how effective it was. It's lightweight, extremely mobile, and powerful for a cordless product. The bottom has glides attached to it so it won't scratch your floors. Big and small objects got picked up with ease, and dumping the cleaning bin was a snap. I also tried it on carpet and got great results. My floors are now perfectly clean, and ready to be polished. I highly recommend this product product. I hope this review was helpful.

I've been using the sweeper for a week and it works great on both carpet and hard surface.

My Mother introduced me to this product because her ceramic tiled floors are always SHINEY. I mean it is a luster of shine that will truely blind you . I purchased this product at Wal-Mart and I have no idea why there are TV commercials and other means to purchase this Magnificent product when its at our finger tips in our local wal-mart shopping center.
Anyway, I tryed the QuickShine on my Cork flooring and it is AMAZING!! I wish I had a before and after picture to show because you wouldnt believe it.
I am pleased with the product and the price.
Just follow directions on the bottle and get out your sunglasses for the shine!

I bought this at a grocery store....it does a great job but, after a few months it no longer holds a charge.

This is not the first time I have bought this item. Have one on every floor of my house. At my house, using the big vac is not necessary every day but since we live near water, we have sand constantly and we have a cat who sheds. Several times a day i take out the sweeper and run it quickly over the floors and my floors could be in a commercial. You can walk barefooted and not feel grit. I love it. Recommend it for anyone for light touchups on an otherwise clean floor. Can be used on short nap carpets but it does wear the rechargeable battery down much more quickly than using it on just a hard floor. It is great in bathrooms for picking up hair.
