When we bought our current home, the kitchen floor was covered with brand new blue vinyl over the original wood floor. The day of the closing, I removed the vinyl with a steamer, but it took months of elbow grease to get up the glue. The floor had had some water damage in a couple places, but my efforts to remove the glue had hurt the finish even more. It was dull looking and didn't match the surrounding rooms any more. It seemed like my only option would be to refinish the floor, but with many pending remodeling projects, we just never seemed to get around to it.

Long story short, an advertisement on television for the Holloway House Quick Shine Floor Care Kit caught my eye. It mentioned the product could replace the kind of refinishing this floor really needs. I decided to try it, but ordered it from Amazon, rather than paying the $19.95 plus shipping.

I applied the recommended six coats over the course of a day, letting each coat dry. The floor is of course still discolored in sections that had the more serious damage, but at least the overall look matches the original surrounding flooring for shine and color. And it seems to resist little spills that happen in the kitchen, making a quick clean up possible.

The product, while not a complete fix, is well worth the cost. The included mop is well designed and the polymer finish seems to be a good solution to my floor problem for now. Another advantage for me was the mild, not unpleasant odor.

This product made my hardwood floors look like a mess. I used the floor cleaner first as directed. There are streaks in several spots and lines across the floor where I squirted the fluid onto the floor. I spread the fluid with the special mop within seconds so it's not like I let it sit for several minutes. I have added 4 coats and can still see the streaks and lines. I'm very disappointed with this product. The only reason it gets two stars is that it did make the kithcen ceramic tile look better. No consolation for the appearance of my once beautiful wood floors! Now I just need to figure out how to remove it from the wood floors.

This product delivers what it promises! I used it with a microfiber mop that you just wet the pad in the sink. No buckets and mess. It is so simple you just squirt it on the floor and mop over it.

I used the cleaner first on my Congolium and Wood floors. Then I used the Floor Finish and it dries shiney but not slippery. My floors look like new.

I am very well pleased with the product.

My only complaint is the Marketplace seller here that I got it from didn't seen the stated 2 books with the product.

The kit is a good value compaired to purchasing each one seperate.

I have used the Hanover House lemon oil for years and it is also a good product and cleans your woodwork and wood furniture very well leaving a nice shine. Be sure not to use too much on the cloth as a little goes a long way.

Great product and wide enough to cover a lot of wood space. My floor is nice and shiny.
