I got this for our little girl who is 10 months old. It is the perfect size.

Got this for my wife after she told me she had one as a child that she loved and it was destroyed. So I thought I'd surprise her and get her one.

I was worried when it arrived in a mail bag not much bigger than a sandwich bag so I opened it and it's so small it looks like a chew toy for a small dog!

When I think doll I think of something the size of a real baby that a child can cradle and rock in their arms but I can lay this doll flat on the palm of my hand and I'm not a big guy {ring size only 9). My wife says it looks just like the one she had as a child just a miniature version which was disappointing to her.

It says 12 inch which sounds big but if you think about it 1 foot is just that, about the size of a medium adult shoe.

I purchased this item for someone who has never had a doll. I thought of the holly hobbie because I used to have one.

I read a review of the 9 inch doll that said it was tiny, so I bought the 12 inch one. It still seemed a lot smaller than I had imagined when I got it out of the box. It can be compared to a Barbie Doll, which is also 12". I am sure my daughter will love it, but I think a larger one, which can be hugged would be a lot more fun for her. Its also basically the same size as a Groovy Girls doll, for those of you who have those. It is a pretty doll though. Refreshing change from the fashion dolls available.

I bought this as a gift for my sister,because she enjoyed Holly Hobbie years ago. I knew she would enjoy receiving it and using it as decoratiion in her home. I received the item swiftly and would use this company again.
