I have already read this book, Louisa is selling it on her website www.hollywoodbeautysecrets.com. This book is a must-have for every woman! Louisa lists affordable, effective, rejuvenating products and therapies that slow down and even reverse aging, ignite fat burning, diminish deep wrinkles, relieve depression and decrease body fat without prescription drugs, plastic surgery or invasive procedures. Many products listed can be found in drug, beauty supply or health food stores. I am impressed and looking forward to her second book! E.W.

a cosmetic detective in search of the truth,

ok, the truth is i have not read this book as yet...i just ordered it today BUT i have a story about the author which will explain my rating. about 6 months ago i was in my doctors waiting room when he approached me and asked if i would mind speaking about my treatments to a woman that was writing a book on beauty solutions. i agreed to talk to her for 2 reasons, i felt that if any woman that shared my problem of unsightly cellulite could get help from my experience then i wanted to be a part of that and also becasue the woman (Lousia) seemed very personable. she was very thorough in her questioning in the office and called me later that day to ask me even more Q's. i allowed her access to my before photos so she could be certain i was not imagining my progress. she has keep a steady vigilance of following up with me to hear if my improvings were continuing and holding. a few times i took advantage of her calls and asked about unrelated problems i was having, she gave me several remedies that i am still using today and they were inexpensive and they really work. so, i rated her book upon a first hand trust factor, i know she does her homework, i know she asks the hard questions and demands proof and i know she has a great deal of information on many beauty solutions in that pretty head of hers. i look forward to receiving her book.

The book contains well-known remedies, nothing new or exciting. Some interesting articles about cosmetic surgeries. This book is just a tool to increase her website sales. Every cosmetic listing has a link to buy from her website. Products are overpriced, found much better deals for the same products online.Not worth the price, not even discounted!
