Hollywood Deception is a wonderful and exciting read full of mystery, drama and romance. As this was the first book I've read by Ms. Goss, I was truly captivated and overwhelmed with the storyline and hilarious actions of Hailey/Tre/Garrett and others. It was the strength and chemistry of lifetime friendships as well as the low self esteem suffered by others that solidified this wonderful read, OH, and by the way, the ROMANCE was truly off the HOOK (Especially the Beach Scene)! Taking a true to life scenerio of a stalker, which many celebrities and other high profile people have to deal with and sometimes die at the hands of brought the story to life, and by adding the interview of surviving stalker victims with a hotline and website further strengthened her storyline. Ms. Goss joins the ranks of other wonderful authors like Brian K. Smith and Deatri King Bey who have used their pens to write wonderful stories that highlight and educate their readers on topics like being bipolar, and male abuse at the hands of a woman to name a couple, which can help to save lives in the future! Kudos and a job well done on this story Ms. Goss! Highly recommend!

Hollywood Deception is an exciting, can't put the book down read! I found myself engrossed in Hailey's, Garrett's and Tre's madness. Shelia Goss did an excellent job at weaving a very entertaining tale full of mystery, intrigue and romance. If you're looking for an enjoyable read...Hollywood Deception is for you.

Hollywood Deception is a THRILLING addition to Ms. Goss' Women In Hollywood series...a pleasant mixture of romance and mystery...although I find some aspects of the SUDDEN romance between Hailey and Garrett to be a BIT unrealistic...being the ROMANCE JUNKIE that I am...it doesn't take me long to move pass my disbelief...LOL...and become CAUGHT UP in the DRAMA of their whirlwind romance and the SUSPENSEFUL twists and turns surrounding Hailey's stalker troubles...I also ENJOY catching up with the characters from the previous novel, Double Platinum...so, despite the typos and/or editing issues...Ms. Goss once AGAIN keeps me turning the pages with another ENTERTAINING, yet fictional glimpse into the fast-paced lifestyle of a celebrity.

HOLLYWOOD DECEPTION by Shelia Goss played out like a movie in my head and there was never a dull moment. Goss displayed a mixture of mystery, drama, romance, suspense and unpredictable situations. There were times I was on the edge of my seat, anxiously waiting for the next incident to occur.

Hailey is a diva with an attitude. A former supermodel and now a well-known talk show host, she is used to getting what she wants when she wants it. She's been exposed to high profile people from all angles of the spectrum. Her professional life is exceptionally great and earns her the Daytime Emmy Award, yet her personal life is not to her satisfaction. When she starts receiving anonymous packages, she isn't sure if it's a friend "hating" or a stranger. She turns to her former boyfriend and his business partner for help; doing so, she creates a tangled web she may not be able to wiggle her way out of.

If you are looking for an excellent romance novel, then I would highly recommend HOLLYWOOD DECEPTION. I recently started reading romance novel and HOLLYWOOD DECEPTION is a great one to add to your collection. Author Shelia Goss has me hooked! Great job and thanks for the excitement and creativity.

Hailey Barnes has transitioned her career from supermodel to Daytime Emmy winning talk show host. She is running a close second to the almighty Oprah but she has personal drama that is taking center stage. Hailey has to choose between two of the finest brothers in the city, keep her sanity in the midst of a crazy stalker, and maintain her stellar image in front of the public. GT Securities is handling Hailey's personal security but the owners, Garrett and Trevon, are vying for her heart. The crazy other woman, Shareeka, is more than a hand full and she is driving everyone insane. As the crazy stalker continues to get closer to Hailey, the investigation elevates and everyone is considered a suspect.

Goss has clearly skyrocketed to the top of her craft. The storyline and unbelievable ending will keep you on the edge of your seat. The character development and amazing supporting characters (Mo, Caroline, and Jackie) makes HOLLYWOOD DECEPTION a one session read. The pages between the first stalker letter, passionate love story and fancy award show will keep you captivated from beginning to end. Goss is definitely one of our top notch African American authors.

Reviewing for Real Page Turners

WOW, what a book. This book had me turning the pages very fast; I could not wait to read what would happen next. Talk about keep your friends and enemies close. This was a great romance mixed with suspense. Hailey, Trevon and Garrett were a trip. I love alpha males and they both were it. I also enjoyed hearing about Parris and Casper from her previous book. This book was worth every penny I spent on it and will go on my favorites shelf.

Sheila M. Goss is one of my favorite writers.

This book was suspensful, unpredictable, and definitely a page turner.

It's funny how love is, the person you least expected to fall in love with is the one that steals your heart.

This is a must read!!!

I immediately became thoroughly engrossed in the life of Hailey Barnes and her court of lovers, friends, enemies and those in between. Hailey is quintessentially a true "character". A diva with an attitude, a woman with an agenda, and, at times, a vulnerable little girl with what she believes is a broken heart. The who-done-it works extremely well in this intriguing novel, and the people walk off the page into your world from page one to page three zero eight. I really enjoyed it!

Shelia Goss has the gift of the prolific, which, for those of us who love to read and grow extremely attached to a favorite author, is a true blessing. Looking forward to many, many more great novels from Ms. Goss.

I sat down with Hollywood Deception and a cup of tea...and when I next sipped my tea, it was ice cold and I was halfway through the book...the romance and drama kept me enthralled from the first word to the very last. And I really loved the 'deceptive' twists and turns...highly recommended to all who love romance and well-told stories.

I read Double Platinum and several of the authors other books. I have to say that Hollywood Deception has great mixed of drama, mystery, and romance. Hailey and Garrett story line flowed so well that that I read it in less then eight hours. I truly enjoyed their story.
