Classic stories about Hollywood, by an insider.,

This review is from: Hollywood Education: Tales of Movie Dreams and Easy Money (Paperback)
This is easily one of the best fictional works about Hollywood ever written, in no small part because it's clear that the author based it all on real people and real events. Freeman, also a screenwriter and playwright, has written other books about Hollywood, all of them excellent, but none better than this one. For those who love such classics as What Makes Sammy Run? and Day of the Locusts and Inside Daisy Clover, this collection of connected stories is a must read.
