Fun
I was a little iffy when I bought this book but once it came in I was thrilled. There is a great scarf for a man I can't wait to try and a couple of wonderful purses. I love the fact that she throws in some recipes and some ideas on starting a knitting circle. There's also an adorable children's monogrammed sweater that I will be starting for me nieces. Decided Lack of Glamour
I love knitting books for all sorts of reasons, and none of them is fulfilled by this one. There are a couple of pretty pictures, but I would never wear what's on display. But the problem isn't ugly or weird patterns, but boring ones. It's the usual array of basic stuff with predictable, uninspired doo-dads and color choices. I'd give this one a miss.

I love knitting books for all sorts of reasons, and none of them is fulfilled by this one. There are a couple of pretty pictures, but I would never wear what's on display. She offers a little something for everyone from beginners to more advanced.
