I haven't read this book beyond what was available under "Look inside this book," but there's something highly questionable about a study of movie musicals the completely omits Li'l Abner. Abner's one of the best musicals of the 50s and to leave it out isn't right. I was going to put this on my wish list, but now I don't think I will.
