4.0 out of 5 stars Bike Rack, Hollywood 1.25 Receiver, May 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hollywood Racks HR410 Road Runner 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Receiver) (Sports)
The bike rack goes on the car much easier than our old rack used to, with minimal effort. We put 3 bikes on it coming back across the U.S. and it worked very well, with little movement as we kept an eye on it in the mirrors periodically. We were amazed that nothing moved much. It is a good and sturdy product. We've not tried 4 bikes on it, and it would be tight, but manageable I'm sure since we got 3 on, and 2 of them were side by side.

4.0 out of 5 stars HR410 - 4 bike, July 28, 2008
This review is from: Hollywood Racks HR410 Road Runner 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Receiver) (Sports)
Great rack... after my husband had to disassemble the hitch connector because a part had been factory installed backwards. Quite frustrating, but after that everything went smoothly. Bikes are easy to mount and have mininal movement while driving. Super happy with our purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Rack, good value, August 9, 2011
This review is from: Hollywood Racks HR410 Road Runner 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack (1.25-Inch Receiver) (Sports)
After researching all the brands and styles I decided to go for this one, It has all the bells and whistles included and "more" that other brands would only offer separately (yakima and thule), The one thing I love the most is the "lever for no wobble system" that allows to tighten the fit inside the hitch reducing movement. The construction is even stronger that others therefor making it heavier, something to consider for on and off from the hitch. Also I would recommend to use a top tube adapter for those bikes that don't have an straight top tube or the same kind as you would find in the lady's bikes. Will update later on, after using it for few months.

*Update*
Well after several months of use, I still think that the rack is a bargain for what it comes with, the company is an A+ to deal with, customer service cordial and very helpful, my rack was the older model so it was missing some updates, which after a phone call they were sent in the mail at no cost! The rack's hitch connector has performed just fine, little loosing its shape from wear so eventually you need to torque that lever to avoid excessive wobble, there are some spots that are loosing the protective paint and are getting some rust, this in turn means that the layers of paint are just too low or the there was not enough primer to adhere the paint to the surface of the metal, the straps are getting a little dried out in part from the elements part for lack of a good armor all treatment, but does that anyway... I recently bought a full suspension bike and I'm getting a really hard time trying to mount the bike on the rack even with the frame adapter Hollywood Racks Bike Frame Adapter Pro (Black) so I might have to let this guy go and get a platform base bike rack Hollywood Racks HR1000 Sport Rider 2-Bike Platform Style Hitch Mount Rack (1.25 and 2-Inch Receiver)
