I've used this hitch-rack for a couple of years now. I had it properly mounted on my Prius. Because my bike frames are on the small size, the bike tucks nicely in the wind-shadow of the Prius so that there's minimum impact from the bike on the Prius' gas mileage. Carry the bike on the roof and watch your mileage plummet. Off the back on a hitch rack is the next best thing to carrying the bike in the Prius.
