This review is from: Hollywood Red: The Autobiography of Lester Cole (Hardcover)
This is a frank recap of Lester Cole's life including his Communist activities, their impact on his personal and professional life, his relationship with the other members of the "Hollywood Ten" and his family. It is unforgiving and yet without excessive bitterness. While there is extensive literature about this era, this book gives a very personal perspective of one tenth of the Ten.

This review is from: Hollywood Red: The Autobiography of Lester Cole (Hardcover)
This book exposes the criminal character of the Hollywood blacklist and the great heroism of those who resisted it. Lester Cole is also able to show the truth about the Soviet Union and Communism and that the people are being lied to about the history of the Cold War.
