"Uh-oh! Your philtrum itches. Where do you scratch?" "Who watches more TV--adults or kids?" Loosely based on ticktacktoe, it features a 10-inch-square cardboard standup TV screen-grid that you populate with your choice of 12 fictitious cardboard celebrities. The object of the game is to claim these celebrities' squares with a plastic X or an O by deciphering whether or not your opponent is giving you an honest answer to a question. Because both true and false answers are given on the card he's reading, you could be getting either one (he can even make up his own)! It's up to you to decide the truth. If you're right, the square is yours. If not--well, your opponent nabs it. Questions and answers are printed on 252 double-sided cards--more than 500 questions in all. Although we found the construction to be a bit on the flimsy side, it didn't detract from the fun of the game itself. (And in case you're still wondering, the philtrum is that little indentation between your nose and your lip.) --Julie Ubben

Want to add life to any party? Break out a GAME SHOW home game. This edition of "HOLLYWOOD SQUARES" is fun to play. Hopefully they'll add a computer CD edition!

The latest incarnation of this hit game show is handled unusually poorly by Hasbro. Their versions of "Wheel of Fortune," "Jeopardy," and "Acquire" are excellent. But this one seems to have gone through without much thought. It's a basic game of tic-tac-toe enhanced by questions, answers and bluffs. A good game, could be a better version.

I purchased the hollywood squares as a back yard entertainment function. i built a frame with nine squares and envite numerous freinds to fill them, mc out of the back yard , a few totties and poof instant laughter.Lots of fun
