1.0 out of 5 stars Someone can have my book, July 12, 2000

This book is now outdated....I accidently hit the buy button twice so I have two and I can sell them on ebay if you want them. This book has phone numbers that are disconnected, outdated area codes, and has no helpful hints. It looks like a phone book inside with just a few address for each states except for california and new york

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly easy and helpful., June 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Hollywood U.S.A.: How to Get into the Movie Business Without Moving to Los Angeles or New York (Paperback)
I have been a model for 5 years and wanted to expand my opportunities by becoming an actress. The only problem was, modeling is so much different and I had no idea where to start. I was over-whelmed and didn't want to look like a beginner. It was so easy, written in plain everyday english that anyone can follow. It told me how and who to contact nationwide. They separated it into state by state directories. I am now getting great parts in movies, commercials, videos..and believe me, I'm loving it! I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without reading Hollywood USA.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, Humorous, and Fun to Read!, June 20, 2000

I really enjoy this book. I can read it over and over again. I've been dying to get into the movie bussiness, but I was so far from Hollywood or New York, was a beginner, and didn't know where to start. This book made it easy for me to begin. It's easy to understand and very thorough. From funny experience stories to what to do for headshots and resumes...this book has it all! The movie business doesn't seem as scary anymore. hehe. I can't wait until I am among the "stars." Lots of thanks to the authors!
