This is a great resource that gives nice historical and geographical backgrounds for the bible. Also can serve as a devotional as each topic is rooted in scripture and explores a theme that goes along with the story or part of the bible that is summarized.

I had read a copy of this book, and wanted my personal copy. It's a very comprehensive resource for Bible students and teachers. I have already used it in teaching third and fourth graders, and recommended it to friends.

I was disappointed with this product; it was not as in depth as I anticipated. However, I got it for a greatly discounted price so I don't feel I paid too much. The Zondervan guide is infinitely better.
