My Biggest Beef:the fan you get is not the fan advertised...there are 2 models for this fan, the one advertised (the BT 200) and the one you get. the one you get is the BT210RT model and it has no timer, no sleep mode and only 2 settings, high and low. to me, the picture made the fan look like it oscillated the top and the bottom separately, but it doesn't. however, you can turn to top so that it faces separate directions from the bottom and when the fan oscillates you get a constant air flow. Assembly: It took me about a half hour to assemble, because the parts don't exactly fit perfectly, but with a lot of force you can get them together. (it comes with the motor parts complete and the base you have to assemble from 6 parts). The remote is one big button that you use to turn to fan on or off, and the battery cover is hard to take off or put back on (much like assembling the fan). Function: It's easy to operate: you only have 2 buttons. one that lets the fan oscillate, and the other that turns the fan on or off (just like the remote). Pushing the button once turns it on low, pushing it again turns it on high, push it again and it turns it to low 60 degrees (which means if the room is above 60 it will turn the fan on) and the more you push the button the more it scrolls through the temperature settings for low speed and then high. so basicaally you have to push the button 12 times before it will turn off (unless of course you have it set at a certain temperature and the room temp drops below that it turns off by itself. The thermostat is fairly accurate, i have no complaints about that yet, but the fan is loud. I was hoping to use it at night when i sleep, but when it's on low speed it makes about as much noise as a $10 box fan from walmart on medium speed. What I Liked: It has a nice look to it and does a really good job at moving the air in the room. It fits nicely in a corner and is a comfortable height. The handle in the back of the fan is useful for moving it around too. Overall it's a good fan, but knowing what i do about it now, i wouldn't have paid $50 for it. I'd say it's more of a $30-$35 fan.

I use this fan in my exercise room. It fits easily in the corner of the room taking minimum space. It is quiet and powerful. It has an oscillation feature and variable temperature settings. It splits in the middle for maximum room coverage. I like the remote control option.I definitely recommend the fan.
