Outfitted with a low-vibration GE motor, the Holmes Harmony air purifier helps improve the atmosphere in a home without a deafening roar. In fact, on its lowest setting, the purifier is virtually inaudible over general room sounds. The unit is constructed for freestanding placement near a wall and vertical or horizontal orientation. The motor has four speeds, controlled with a simple dial, and a lighted filter check display helps you track the quality of the unit’s output. The included HEPA filter traps dust, pollen, mold spores, and pet dander--99.97 percent of all particulates down to 0.3 microns. In addition, a carbon odor filter captures larger particulates and reduces common household smells. Holmes uses Microban protection throughout the machine to inhibit the growth of microbial substances like mold and mildew. Certified for a 14-by-15-foot room (or 210 square feet), the machine carries a 5-year warranty. It measures 15 by 17-1/4 by 7-1/4 inches. --Emily Bedard

The Harmony Air Purifier has turned out to be a great little workhorse of a machine! I have dogs and this machine does a great job of removing their dust, hair and dander from the air. The only problem I have is the noise. The Harmony is not loud, but it is noticeable. Filter replacement is easy. Filter costs can add up. The recommended replacement on the Hepa filter was 12-18mos, but I needed to replace after 8 months of hard use. Overall I reccomend it. Good Quality, Great Price.
