These are exactly the same as the ones that came with the unit. Fits well, good quality.

These work as intended. They have little spots of baking soda which is supposed to inactivate smells, but I'm really skeptical on that. They do catch large particles well, and are an integral part of my Holmes filter.

These are good quality and reasonably priced. They do a good job removing particulate matter from the air when used with my Holmes air purifier. They are necessary to use upstream of a HEPA filter to keep the HEPA from becoming clogged.

The actual Holmes air filter wasn't a bad price, but the HEPA and Carbon Filters are WAY expensive. There's absolutely NO reason why a couple sheets of carbon should be $14 or HEPA replacements $24 and up. A complete replacement of all 3 HEPAs and Carbon Filters will run you $200!

A third party manufacturer needs to undercut these ridiculous OEM replacement prices. Replacing everything every 6 months like recommended is outrageously more expensive than the filter.

That said, the Holmes HEPA filter does a great job of clearing out the air in a room. I suppose that comes with a STEEP price.

These are getting tough to find locally -- it used to be I could walk into Sears and walk out with a box, but now they're only interested in selling me the more expensive "type B" HEPA filters that these carbon filters fit over.

There are four of these per box, yet only three are needed per change in our Holmes HAP 650 purifier. The purifier is in use in a converted basement bedroom in the house -- it has a moisture control problem, we have the diaper changing table in there, and we own dogs. The evidence is clear every time we change these filters. Not only is there a lot of dust, dander, pet hair and whatever collected in these, but the smell of the room becomes noticeably improved every filter change.

The main function of these filters is to keep the more expensive HEPA filter beneath Holmes HAPF600D from getting clogged. They can be rinsed out under the faucet, by the way, if you don't mind the hassle of the cleaning and the drying. For us, changing these charcoal pre-filters out ever 3-4 months gives us about a years worth of use on the HEPA filters behind them.

Replacement is simple enough: just open the door, pull out the old pads if they're yucky, and the new ones press into place.

My only gripes with these are, for the price they're charging, they ought to put six in the box to provide two full changes. But I do appreciate that they keep the HEPA filters unobstructed for a full year.

These filters need to be used for our air filter and they last a long time. I truly enjoy these products for my son who has some strong allergies.

Like the nice touch of arm and hammer on pads. Never had a problem with this product. Will buy again.

I've been buying the "one-size-fits-most" filters that you have to cut down to size yourself. I'm so glad I found and decided to try these. They fit my filter perfectly and saved so much hassle. I hope you continue purchasing these and never want to go back to cutting filters down to size myself!

Regarding the "Enhanced with Arm and Hammer" part, it's seems a little silly. All they did was sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on the carbon. If I needed baking soda on my filters, I really could do it myself. Since carbon is more effective at trapping odors in the first place, I don't do that. Still like the product for ease of use, though.

Hard to measure how well an air filter is doing its job; however, these fit the Holmes air purifier we own. One thing I might say is that our purifier calls for three filters. These come in a four pack, leaving one leftover--obviously not a huge deal as we have to buy more every so often.

This filter works great with the Holmes 725 filter it goes with. I have no complaints.

I do not have asthma or dust/pollen/pet allergies, so I can't say if it does or doesn't help those but it sure does trap a lot of dust and other gross looking stuff and the house smells cleaner, my furniture doesn't need as frequent dusting and the overall "fresh" feeling of the house is much improved with these air filters in place.
