A very interesting text,
By Shane (Lynden, WA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Holocaust Reader: From Ideology to Annihilation (Paperback)
This book is a compilation of primary source material concerning different aspects of the Holocaust. It gives first hand accounts from those who perpetrated the Holocaust and those who were victims of it.This book is conveniently sorted into ten distinct chapters, each dealing with a different facet of the Holocaust. I found this book to be a very interesting testimony of this dreadful event. As hard as some chapters are to read (and deal with) I really learned a lot about the characters involved in this experience. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the human cost of the Holocaust, as well as those who are concerned with the rise of anti-Semitism in our time. |
