NEWS!

THIS 1997 EDITION IS SOLD OUT.

We had two sets of Founding Fathers: the 1770s set who kicked of the Revolutionary War, and the 1780s set who agitated for a constitutional convention in 1787. Except for a few persons, they were different men -- and with different agenda.

Jefferson did not write the Constitution, but most Americans seem to believe that it was a Jeffersonian product as his Declaration of Independence.

If you've ever wondered how we came to have a leviathan federal government that was supposed to remain small and defined -- Hologram of Liberty will explain what happened.

This 1997 edition is sold out and out of print, and was replaced in June by the 2012 second edition (ISBN 1888766131), which has 100 new pages, and thoroughly covers the 10th Amendment, Firearms Freedom Acts, Obamacare, and comparisons between other constitutions. It is the last revsion that Royce will offer for any of his titles, and brings his 1997 classic fully up to date. Also, look soon for the Kindle version!

Review

As Royce pointed out in his brilliant but underappreciated book The Hologram of Liberty that the Constitution was doomed at the beginning . . .

--The Evil That Men Do: Willful Submission To Illegitimate Authority, by William Buppert

This book is a well-researched, scholarly dissection of the frauds surrounding the convention, the framing and the ratification of the Constitution for the United States of America. Any thinking person who reads this book should walk away angry at the hoax that has been perpetrated on the people of this country.

. . . the material here is timeless. With a complete grasp of these ideas, it is easy to see that the left-right debate is merely a pointless sham. Powerful interests derive their power from your participation in a heated struggle, and don't want you to realize that the struggle itself is based on a lie.

It is astonishing that this book, given its age, isn't the cornerstone of every libertarian or liberty event in the country. It is disturbing that so few people involved in those movements haven't read it, or in some cases, even heard about it. I hadn't, until a couple of months ago, but I was blown away when I read it. Now, many things make more sense, including the gut-level triteness of most neo-patriots, who cheer something they haven't taken the time to fully understand. Yet, this book explains why the protections of the Constitution necessarily shrink over time, while the powers expand without bound. Boston clearly explains why our current political environment is a direct consequence of the Constitution, and not in spite of it.

--Tom Baugh, author of Starving the Monkeys: Fight Back Smarter. He is also a former Marine, patented inventor, entrepreneur, professional irritant and a homeschooling parent.

. . . I just got out of a fetal position on the floor and can't really move much. I read this book, and it hit me like a comet. Talk about a needed wake up . . . --MichaelNotMike

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Expose' of the Constitution July 6, 2003
Format:Paperback
Kenneth Royce does a brilliant job of exposing the US Constitution for what it really is: a government that centralizes all power in the Federal government. Royce takes you from the Revolution to the ratification of the Constitution showing how the Articles of Confederation were totally destroyed. As pointed out by Royce this should be called a national, not federal government. The Constitution provides the framework for an unlimited government instead of a confederate republic.

Royce correctly shows Hamilton's designs for a all powerful, monarchial central government with which to submerge the states.
Hamilton is shown in his true light as a tool for the merchant class, banks, corporations, and the ruling elite of the new republic. Along with other Federalists he is shown manipulating public opinion through scare tactics and propaganda. Standing against him were the anti-federalists, and Thomas Jefferson, a true votary of human liberty.

Although this book can be depressing it is a must read for a patriot.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! What a eye opener! April 27, 2005
Format:Paperback
Most libertarians, such as myself, hold the Constitution as the panacea of liberty and freedom. However, how has our government become so large and almost monster-like in size? Why is it that our Bill of Rights are constantly under attack? Is it because we are still under the Emergency War powers act?...maybe...but how are we still under a War Powers act? Even before 911. Why does it seem that the government can carte blanche create 60,000 laws a year and many of them "apparently" anti-Constitutional. The Constitution can be seen as a legal Trust. The Asset was Liberty, the benefactor was the people, the signators where the founding fathers and the government was the executor of the trust. Somebody seems to have defaulted (and "is" defaulting) on their job...hmmm..is it the government or is it "We the people"...I'll let you decide. Read the constitution, do some reading and ask yourself, "Is our government the same one invisioned in 1789 in the Constitution?" Well, if you say no, then you must ask "how" did it happen. Look no further, "Hologram of Liberty" will educate thoroughly. The devil is in the details and the details are the maleability of legal fictions.

Anyone who holds Alexander Hamilton in high regard, will no longer after reading this and performing additional research.

Bravo Kenneth, Bravo...

4.0 out of 5 stars Parchment Worshippers Take Note June 2, 2002
Format:Paperback
The Constitution that we live under was originally intended to be a document that would provide the cracks from which the waters of tyranny would ooze. The Hamiltonian Centralizers purposely provided us with a document that would destroy true Federalism (decentralization) and exalt the notion of a highly centralized form of Republican tyranny. The "Anti-Federalists" were the TRUE Federalists, and the "Federalists" were actually anti-federalists when the meaning of such is taken in its proper context.

Boston T. Party deflates the wet dreams of the Parchment Worshippers. The Constitution actually went through numerous re-writings so as to pave the way for later interpretations that would grant ultimate power to a Central Machine. The Articles of Confederation should have been left to stand.
