This review is from: The Holographic Anthropic Multiverse: Formalizing the Complex Geometry of Reality (Series on Knots and Everything) (Hardcover)
Giant step in the right direction to understand the geometry of the human being. Not an easy reading , but a stimulating one. Good introduction to Riemann concepts underlying the geometry of the life and the transition of the connectivity to the complexity. This book helps to understand « La strucure absolue » by Raymond Abellio in 1964. It is a good introduction to get the physical correlates of biosemiotics and of biosemantics.

This review is from: The Holographic Anthropic Multiverse: Formalizing the Complex Geometry of Reality (Series on Knots and Everything) (Hardcover)
There is little need for a critique of this book, as no one w/a graduate-level background in physics or astronomy will be snookered, and few will shell out $100 for this Sci-Fi novel, spiced up w/a few equations. A pseudo-sequel to 1975's `Space, Time, & Beyond', a physicsy mish-mash of Wheelerian quotes & new-age consciousness theories spun together, this book employs Multiverse models to empower its real intent: to discredit the big-bang origin of the universe, accepted by the scientific community At Large for 45 yrs now. There is a small clique of anti-BigBangers worldwide, tracing their origins to the 1950s Steady-State model, w/its various icons, few of whom are still doing contemporary scientific research. Despite Dr. Rauscher's prior prestigious affiliations, it's clear that she has abandoned academe for new age nirvana, as is corroborated by her absence of scientific publications on the arxiv.
Despite the author's impressive scientific credentials, a little googling will uncover her website & reveal her in true form. It will be far cheaper to buy Jack Sarfatti's book for entertainment, a few crystals & magnets, lite up a log w/OrinocoFlow playing, & bliss out. |
