I have owned several dSLR holsters in my lifetime and know what to look for in one. First, it needs to be comfortable. A holster is designed for quick, easy access to your SLR and if the company messed that first step up its over. This case does not mess itup at all. it is fast and easy to the draw which i like. Secondly, the case needs to scream "PROTECTION!" which this one does as well. fully padded all the way around makes it seem like i could drop the thing and itll be alright. never would do that with my $2500 dollar camera inside. HA!

I love this camera case! I recently made a trip and carried a different case (before this purchase) and vowed when I got back I would buy one that was more conducive to travel. This one is just the right size and fits close to the body. It holds my Nikon D5000, memory sticks, and small billfold so I don't have to carry a purse. This was an excellent purchase for me.
