Product Description

This holster combines the ruggedness and stability of a belt holster with the convenience of a clip-on. It's multi-layer nylon cushion fit design molds itself to the shape of the gun. This holster is ambidextrous and includes both 2" wide belt loops and a sturdy, high carbon, black metal clip. The holster may be worn either left or right handed; it includes belt loops on both sides and the metal clip can be moved from side to side. The polyslide sight channel, soft nylon lining and reinforced thumb break insure a quick release and a smooth draw. The thumbreak is positioned across the hammer instead of the grip for a natural feel and a positive draw. An extra magazine pouch mounted on the front channel of the holster is standard. The holster is constructed using only top grade, new materials, and no surplus automotive foams, fillers or liners. The nylon exterior provides resistance to scuffs, abrasions and moisture. The interior features a smooth nylon lining and a closed cell foam moisture barrier. It is sewn using nylon thread and edgebound with nylon binding tape using double needle stitching to provide about 14 stitches per inch reinforcement. The combination of materials and hand finishing provides a strong, good looking, long wearing holster.

I purchased this holster to just use at the range with my Walther PPX and PPQ M2. The good news is that both guns (both new models as of this writing, for which holsters are difficult to find) fit the holster well and it allows me to holster the pistol while loading magazines or taping targets, etc.

However, the holster is a bit flimsy. I removed the two straps that provide the thumb-break retention, and am considering putting them back on (easy to do - they just use Velcro) for better stability and confidence. The metal clip that is provided does not hold the holster tightly to your belt, allowing it to flop. I found much better success looping my belt through the provided belt loop, but even then it tends to be slightly top-heavy.

I know three stars seems dreadful, but it's really not meant to be. I can't in good conscience give the holster any higher rating, but for the price - and if used for limited purpose - it's a good little holster.

The holster is truly ambidextrous, with a loop on either side. The metal clip can be used on either side also. The front of the holster has a small exterior pouch, wedge-shaped, that could be used to store a magazine (a small-ish one), a knife, or small flashlight. There is a Velcro strap that can be used to secure that storage pouch and help prevent its contents from spilling out.

In summary - I recommend this holster for the Walther PPQ/PPX for range use only. I don't feel I would trust it as a true carry holster. But for its use, it works nice and is inexpensive. A decent deal.

I have a PPQ m2 with a crimson trace laser and it fits perfect. It also has a pouch for an additional magazine. It can clip on or you can run your belt through a loop.

I have a Walther PPQ M2 .22LR (same dimensions as the 9MM) and this fits perfect with my attached Crimson Trace Laser. The metal belt clip is useless but using it on my belt holds it securely for carry. The belt loop is configured for a 2" belt but with a little sewing to close the gap, it now fits with my 1.5" belt. It also holds my PPQ securely without using the straps too.
