I really like this book as a textbook for high school chemistry, but I don't think it goes in depth enough for a college intro class. If you need a high school textbook, though, I highly recommend this one.

As a chemistry tutor I look for useful books that can help describe the subject matter, this book fulfills that need.

This book is just the one my son needed for his chemistry class. Found out during a meet and greet at the school that no books were available for the class...so I went to Amazon.com and as always, they had just what I needed. This vendor shipped my book promptly and the condition was as described. I would highly recommend this vendor for future products.

I ordered this book because I lost my original one. The book came as it said online...acceptable condition. I did have problems with delivery but that was on behalf of the postal office.
