5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!
One of the most accurate versions is now available in giant print! I love this because of the way it flows, and you get int reading it.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT "giant" print!
They must have awfully small 'giants' where this publisher lives! The print can't be any more than 12 pt.

If you are vision impaired (like me) and want a Bible that's easy to read, DON'T buy this one!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice big print, but pages too thin, March 5, 2004
By A Customer

The Giant print is great, but the pages appear to be too thin, because the print from the other side of each page shows through on the side you are reading. This is very distracting. Go for the real leather edition, which is slightly thicker.

4.0 out of 5 stars I can see!, November 4, 2006

Great size letter type. It is a bit heavier but I can put up with that in order to stop straining my eyes. It would have been nice if came with ribbon book marks. It doesn't.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bible makes great gift, January 10, 2011

I purchased this large print Bible for my 92 year old mother, and we were both very pleased with the quality. The print is large enough for her to read it easily, and yet it isn't a large bulky book for her to handle.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shouldn't a Bible marketer be truthful?, November 24, 2009

Guess you have to read the fine print- even on large print Bibles. I'm not sure but I would assume that the product description comes from the publisher, in this case Thomas Nelson.
The words "Leather Bound" appear in bold type. If you keep reading you might notice in smaller typeface "imitation leather edition" Is this honest????
By the way, the reason I'm shopping is because the last Bible I purchased was "Bonded Leather". I found out the hard way what that means. It's a microthin layer of leather glued to cardboard. Edges crack and fall off pretty quick. I guess the best way to buy a Bible is to check it out in person and to read the fine print. A sign of the times? I think so. It seems to be all about money. And I'm not just slamming one publisher's possible clerical error. Zondervon got bought up by Harper Collins, a book publisher that also happens to make money peddling Anton Levey's "Satanic Bible" and "Satanic Rituals". Most Christian music labels have been bought up by companies that also manufacture (and target market to our youth) every kind of perversity imaginable.
Well, I guess I'll climb off my ranter's ladder and head out to find a local store that sells quality Bibles. It won't be easy though. A large chain of Christian stores around here went out of business, even though they tried to stay afloat by pandering to every false doctrine under the sun.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a lectern Bible, June 1, 2011
This review is from: Holy Bible: Classic Giant Print Center Column Reference, New King (Imitation Leather)
The center column is to wide and the font text tall but too narrow. Red font for words of Jesus not so good - makes it harder to read. Pages too thin - text seen through from other side. Overall this is NOT a lectern Bible. I wish someone would publish a super giant NKJV with black text throughout and no references.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Same Deity, November 5, 2006
This review is from: Holy Bible: Classic Giant Print Center Column Reference, New King (Imitation Leather)
Each person is unique and translates God' word differently. My own experience, I have found this Holy word to resemble that of a diamond. A diamond can be viewed from many different angles but the fact remains, that we are all gazing upon the same Diamond. Whatever path I choose as long as I seek, be there no doubt that it will be found.
