I have the Couples Devotional Bible (both Old and New Testament) in paperback but had packed it for an overseas move. I just couldn't imagine being without it so I ordered this item sight unseen from amazon. It is AMAZING. It is beautiful to look at, compact yet easily readable, and contains Psalms & Proverbs. I recognize some of the devotions as repeats, but that is to be expected. Also, it is not red-letter which is my personal preference. That being said, I will get many hours of use and enjoyment out of this little gem.
The description said 'hard back' so I was not sure what to expect. But that was another wonderful surprise. It came in a gift box but is made of light blue/aqua bonded leather with 'bible-thin' pages and silver edging. Absolutely gorgeous. This will be my travel bible from now on. If I were staying in the US, I would not hesitate to upgrade to the leather full bible edition. Five stars are not enough to express my delight. |
