Large 8 1/2 x 11 book; text-only (no marginal notes); great font; words of Christ in RED; includes Dictionary/Concordance, colored Maps, "How the Bible Came to Us", "Why Read the Bible?", Daily Bible Readings, Presentation Page; available in Black or Burgundy; printed in the U.S. by National Publishing Company, the same company that for decades has printed the "Gideons Bibles" made available in hotel rooms.

My 15 yr old son chose this Bible for his Father for Fathers Day. Our hopes were not let down. It is an excellent buy. A quality leather cover with large print, Words of Christ in red. This Bible will last a very long time. Has some excellent features to it also. For example maps, concordance & dictionary.

Great Bible...a little flimsy, but affordable and large print - it makes it really nice to read! Has maps in the back...KJV - the best!

I purchased this large print version on accident! But since my neighbor who goes to my church has really bad eyesight, I asked her if she would like it. She is so happy with it! She says the text is really perfect and large enough that she can see it without straining! This is the first time she has been able to read the Bible on her own in years. Usually she listens to it on audiobook or someone else reads it to her. This is the best accidental careless purchase I've ever made. She says to recommend it to anyone with poor eyesight who loves the Lord's word. (We both like King James version best too.)

I have seen this Bible or one just like it, a couple of times throughout the years. The large print really was an interest to me, at this stage of my life. But the real leather was also a deal sealer, because I use my Bible very often. I absolutely love it, it's perfect for me.

If you have vision problems as I do, then this Bible is for you. It has 15.5 point lettering which older folks or vision impaired people really need. The paper is of a nice weight and doesn't allow lettering on the other side of the page to shine through. Its a little large to preach from but it can be done, and if you are into taping sermon notes to the pages it provides a larger "workspace" on Sunday mornings. Just be careful when you take off the notes or you might remove some of the text. All in all. this is a nice heavy duty Bible with God's word inside. What could be better! I believe the cover is not really leather and may be a little weak but its a 4 star product just the same.

If you want a simple, giant print KJV, uncluttered with publisher's gimmicks, this is it. One thing that is hard to find is a KJV that is not self-pronouncing, but this is one!

The book is huge: pages are 8.5 x 11. The print is huge, but not overwhelming. Overall it is beautiful Bible! A rare find!

I ordered the leather bound and it is nice; I don't think it is plastic, but it is, no doubt, bonded. The binding has cracked about where the last page meets the cover, common with poor bindings. Sad.

We ordered some of the cheaper ones at $12 or so, and they are poor. The covers are like paper not vinyl; these covers will not last!! One idea is to cover them in leather with some contact cement, but we have not tried it. The gilding on the edges is poor on the cheaper ones as well; it looks cheap and yellow. But for the price they do have nice Bible paper. Hard call. We still stocked up; These are a rare find.

We have found the best source for travel size KJV Bibles to be a non-profit: Trinitarian Bible Society. They sell a calfskin leather Bible with a sewn binding for $30! The text size is OK. It is the "Windsor" item 25U.

This is a beautiful edition of the King James Bible with a very honorable and traditional look. The print is large and easy to read. It is a very large Bible but that's what I wanted.

Like many aging people, my eyesight is deteriorating. My Bible was getting harder and harder to read and I decided I just needed a new one. Well, I wanted a leather cover so it wouldn't wear as badly as the imitation leather cover on the Bible that I got almost 60 years ago (silly me - why did I think that the Bible shouldn't fall apart with age even when you use it a lot.) Anyway, I got this Bible and it is wonderful! I love the large print! The cover is beautiful!. It is not too heavy but it is a bit bulky. Well it is giant print and instead of making it thicker, the printer made it larger. But that is alright. I can read it and that is what I needed, so I have to say, I love it!

This Bible is very nice for the price. Our family really loves this Bible and it stays on our kitchen table for daily devotions. If you are getting a little older (in your 40's, 50's) and are having a little trouble seeing smaller print, this Bible is for you. The King James Authorized Bible is the closest translation to the original text written thousands of years ago. Don't be fooled by the other versions that were not inspired by God. This is the Bible for you.
