I really like this bible, it is a very thorough and accurate translation, even though it is a thought-for-thought translation not a word-for-word translation. I use several translations(KJV,NKJ,AMP,NLT,CEV,NASV...), and I find this translation to be one of the top 3 translations. Although I like bibles translated from the "Textus Receptus" greek text(like the King James Version), this bible is translated from the "Alexandrian"-type manuscripts, where several paragraphs, verses, sentences and words are omitted, but still this an easy to understand and easy to read bible that surpasses the "New Living Translation", the popular "New International Vesion", and some other contemporary "rivals".

And I give it a 5 star average; Good translation at a low price.

This is a wonderful Bible in larger editions. In the Mass Market Paperback edition the type is so small as to make it unusable. And that's with corrected 20/20 vision. Buy the regular size.
