I FIRST OWNED THE STATLER BROTHERS "OLD TESTAMENT" AND "NEW TESTAMENT" ON 33/RPM/LP. I PLAYED THE RECORDS SO MUCH I WORE THEM OUT. THEN I BOUGHT TWO CASSETTE TAPES OF THE SAME MUSIC, I WORE THEM OUT, BOUGHT TWO MORE CASSETTE AND WORE THEM OUT TOO!! NOW I FINALLY FOUND THEM ON TWO CDs. I AM SO HAPPY, I JUST RECEIVED THEM AND I FEEL LIKE OLD FRIENDS HAVE BEEN REUNITED! I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD ABOUT THIS ALBUM. IT IS FUNNY, SCRIPTURAL, AND DONE IN THE TIMELESS STYLE OF THE STATLER BROTHERS! I LOVE IT!!!

After hearing Noah Found Grace In The Eyes Of The Lord, it brought back childhood memories to my son of what was then a record album we had. He decided he wanted to hear the entire album once again and requested it for his birthday. I was so glad that even though it was not available through Amazon, they offered "Statler Brothers Holy Bible Old Testament" through one of their private sellers. The CD I purchased from a private seller was new, so it was everything the seller promised. My son has listened to it many times since receiving it, and it has been the source of great conversation of wonderful family memories.

I'm a big fan of the Statler's. They have a great sound. This Holy Bible production really hits at the heart of gospel music, each song about a certain book in the Bible, telling the story of Christ and his return. Can only highly recommend this tape/cd--if you can find it. It's hard to find, but buy it when you do.

I ordered this CD in OCT 2002 and it arrived with the wrong tracks (songs) on it. .... All the packaging and inserts were correct. If you are considering this CD you may want to wait a couple weeks to let them work out the quality issue and get a new supply in stock. FYI The CD sample clips sound great I will try again to get this one in a few weeks.

My father, though raised Catholic, has never been particularly religious. When I was little, it shocked my mother when he specifically requested the Statler Brothers Old/New Testament (which was released as a two album set at the time). I can remember listening to it with him and being impressed by my father's reaction - it actually would get him to talk about his beliefs and what he was taught in school as a child during the Depression in Philadelphia.

As I was reading the track listing, I can still recall snippets of most of the songs. The music is quintessential Statler Brothers - the songs are masterful representations of the old stories of the Bible. Regardless of what you believe, or how strongly you may hold those beliefs, I highly recommend this CD, along with its New Testament counterpart. Enjoy and make your own memories!

I bought the old testament and liked it so much, I bought the new testament. Now I wanted to buy some for gifts and I find it has been discontinued. SAY IT AIN'T SO! Get it while you can. You won't regret it!

The item came fast and was in very good condition. I'm very happy with my experience.

This product was chosen for my wife as a Christmas gift. She listens to it mostly on the way to and from work. She says it brings back memories of her childhood. Her mother, although not very religious, owned this album on 8 track. She has really been enjoying it, and even the kids (13 and 16) find it semi interesting.

Thanks so much for bringing a bit of my childhood back to me. The CD was in perfect condition and was in my kitchen within 2 days of my purchase - thanks...........

First of all, I am biased. I love the Statler Brothers. I purchased this CD so I could share these great tunes with my husband, who had never heard them. We love them! They are cute and sung as only the STatlers can sing them! I think the biblical reference is correct as most of the Christian world views it.

The cost was extremely high but you get what you pay for!
