This bible is a great take-around bible. I highly recommend the NLT because it's so easy to understand. I was saved because I could finally understand it without all the gobbledygook!
This bible in particular is super-cute, actually real leather-bound and could fit in most purses. It also seems to be bound really well (which i cant really say for the larger tu-tone version mine is falling apart)
The typeface is a bit small, I think that's the only downfall. I bought one for my sis, and I think I may buy another one for myself. U cant beat the price either!

The large print eliminated the need for me to use my reading glasses (primary concern) and the weight of the Bible makes it easier to hold than I hoped, usually large print means heavier. I also liked the feel of soft, supple leather cover. Personal size is just that, it's easy to carry to my study classes in my tote bag.

I have several bibles, study editions and otherwise, and this bible exceeded my expectations, both in form an feature! The pink and brown embossed cover (front AND back!) is just lovely! I am so glad that some of the publishers of new bibles FINALLY are producing lines that are appealing to women! No more black, brown, gray or burgundy for me! I love the NLT, both for the joy of reading the Word and for study. The print is more than large; if my glasses fog up, I could STILL read this one! I like the thumb-indexing as well as the intros to each book; they not only provide some background such as date, theme, etc, but as in the style of the Life Application Bible, they apply the principals to today's living. The maps are excellent, and the dictionary/concordance is pretty concise....the dictionary is an added bonus, with the meaning of the featured words just before the listing of the location in the text, which can be helpful to new believers or to those who need them.
Overall, I give this one a 5-star rating. It is now my 'carry it to church' bible; I have had so many compliments on it and I know that many of my friends will buy this one!

This is a very pretty Bible. I like the way it looks, but when they say large print, they really mean large print. You wouldn't think that 12pt font would be so big but when you open it, you'll be like "oh wow thats big!" Also when it said personal size, I thought it would be small but its actually pretty big and thick. But despite all this, I think its a great Bible.

I really like this bible. My one complaint is that the pages are printed on real thin paper
so I have to turn the pages gently so as not to tear or crinkle them. Other than that, the
print size is nice and easy to read.

Wonderful binding, ribbon bookmark for easy reference. I wasn't sure about the large print, but its wonderful being able to read my bible while its open on my lap without difficult. I especially enjoy the explanations at the beginning of each section. The NLT version is easy to understand, and Im finding it very enjoyable to read. It was a bit spendy, but for something Im going to enjoy for the rest of my life it was simply worth every penny. :)

I ordered the "New Living Translation Bible" in Pink & Brown Bonded Leather, Large Print, Personal Size, and it is beautiful. Not only do I love the translation, but the print is nice and large enough reading glasses are not needed. The product arrived fast and the company who sent it mailed it the very next day, thus I received it faster than expected. I love ordering my books, DVD's, etc. from Amazon.com. I have never had a bad experience, and the prices can't be beat!

I love it. I was so excited to receive this translation and in large print that I could not wait to start reading it. The large print is great, the size is just right and I am enjoying an updated new translation to study. I have referred to my older bibles and find this one very easy to understand and ejoy it greatly.

Greyt value and it is pink! So pleased with it that I ordered another one and gave it to a freind. I've had a NKJ for many years and I'm really enjoying this translation. The price was wonderful and was shipped quickly! It is small enough to fit in my purse yet it has large print! It doesn't get any better than that! Thanx!

This is an easy-to-take Bible. Just the right size. I am enjoying reading through the New Living Translation: very understandable and easy to follow. The only complaint I have is that the print is quite small for these "over 50" eyes. But, with good light, it is doable!
