I bought this Bible as a gift for my husband, a minister, and he loves the multiple concordances, the maps and the the detail in the footnotes. Not to mention, the one I bought him zips, so he doesn't have to worry about his notes falling out or his pages getting wet. I think it's was great buy!

They say the Bible is the best book but this one really is! It is not just a great read but a teaching guide as well. The highlights and notations really help you understand. If you want to not just read the Bible but 'learn' it, this is the book for you!

I order the Scofield Bible as a gift for one of my children. It is AWESOME! Probably the best gift I've given. It was even better than I expected. I will most likely order more of these in the future.

I love it. This is an excellent study book. The Scofield Notes and refferences are incredable and very accurate. This is an exciting book to read and I look forward to it every day. This book will last me a life time.

The King James Version is a great translation and the Scofield system gives a great deal of insight into the context of important matters. The Scofield system includes all relevant references to other parts of the book. It's easy to jump from passage to passage that are closely related to find a much more full view of the text. Before each book a full overview is written to give some understanding before reading that book. The Author, the theme, the approximate date of writting, who the author was related to, background information etc. is included. Extra details like this make the reading much easier to understand.

My initial worry when buying this book was encountering any skewed views on the text. I can assure anyone that the Scofield system is absolutely 100% true to the word. No non-sense included.

Bible construction is outstanding including printing. I purchased this Bible to add to my library of Bibles. The Thompson remains my daily study Bible. However, this Bible is very good as it relates to types and shadows.

This is very a good bible for those who really want to study and understad the word of God. I really like the lettered referances within the verses the that refer to other related and supporting verses (this helps out greatly when witnessing to people). I highly recommend this bible to all fellow belivers who want to study the word of God and witness to the lost. I also like the zipper feature that protects the pages and keep bookmarks and other things from falling out getting lost. This is my second one the first one served me very well and held up and lasted for 30 years.

I bought this item for my brother last year for Christmas. It was exactly what he wanted. He wanted an old fashion style Bible that zipped up around the pages (not a Bible cover). This all in one zippered Bible was perfect. The price was $20.00 cheaper than what a local Christian Bookstore was going to charge me. It arrived very early and I was pleased.

The Scofield Study Bible III is a great study Bible with many new very helpful features. The construction seems to be just fine (and I am picky). The only thing I could think of that would make this Bible even a little better would be to make it genuine leather and include the cut-away book finder. (know what I mean? each cut leads to the first of three books) All in all, this is a first-rate study Bible! I am familiar with the Old Scofield, having owned several and this one is the best that I've ever seen (and it was a present for my wife:( ) We both love it and I'm a honestly considring getting me one, too! Hope this review was helpful. Read it, study it, live it! Acts 2:38 for life (eternal).
