This man, Ronnie James Dio was so much more than a man.
He is a rock/metal GOD, he is one of the most powerful/greatest voices in all of rock/metal.
From Elf, Rainbow, Sabbath, Heaven and Hell to his amazing solo releases (Dio) this man IS metal.

While during this specific performance of this classic song, his voice sounds slightly less powerful than his usual fare. Ronnie ALWAYS gave 100% to his fans, so what is here is certainly his best on this given night of show AND it still gets 5 stars because it's still better live than 99% of bands out there!

Download this free song, love it and explore Dio's vast amazing catalog. For newer fans, I recommend "The very Beast of Dio" (studio) or "Evil or Divine" (live) both great introductions to this amazing artist. Dio loved his fans and always gave his all, so you can go wrong with any part of his catalog, he ALWAYS came to ROCK!!

For such a little guy, RJD had a really BIG voice. I would pass on this live version as it is has a poor audio quality and RJD's voice is really ragged. Don't know if it was because of the cancer or way too many nights out on tour growling into the microphone, but doesn't really sound like the man.

A Classic Rock and Roll song from DIO that I grew up with in my teen years and still to this day love listening to this song. Some nice rock and roll from Ronnie James Dio whose vocals are so distinct and beautiful.
Ronnie James Dio was born Ronald James Padavona in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, an only child in an Italian family. They lived in Portsmouth until the family moved to Cortland, New York early in his life. His parents raised him in the Roman Catholic church, an experience he found unsatisfactory.[3]
On 25 November 2009, his wife/manager announced that Dio was diagnosed with stomach cancer
